Ground Zero 911

The "America's Ride" across the nation from Universal Studios, in Los Angeles, to "Ground Zero", in New York, has been accomplished. The ride across America brought hundreds of thousands of people to see our patriotic caravan as we passed through their respective communities along the way to New York. The "SEAL Mobile" played a double-role, in that it not only was a very patriotic image for all of America to see, but also hosted many navy SEAL recruiting posters to all prospective navy SEAL applicants along the way.

Pete Carolan, aka "The Pirate", sought to convery a message of patriotism to all those patriotic Americans that he met at all the wonderful cities across our great land, which include such stops at: Las Vegas, Nevada; Denver, Colorado; Kearney, Nebraska; Omaha, Nebraska; Danville, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; St. Louis, Missouri, New Castle, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; The Pentagon & Nation's Capital in Washington, D.C., and finally New York City.

Also in several cities along the return route back to California from New York, Pete managed to recruit several prospective Navy SEALs as well! The trip concluded with a huge armada of over 600 motorcycles entering New York, and being led by the "SEAL Mobile", where they held a reception and victory party on board the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Intrepid, in New York Harbor. Operation:"SEAL Mobile" : MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !

The "SEAL Mobile" is an exquisite airbrushed mural tribute to America’s heroes who gave their lives so that other may live.

Dedicated to the U.S. Navy SEALs on the front lines defending Americans and our Commander in Chief’s resolve that "Peace and Freedom Will Prevail" this majestic piece of art was painted by Peter Carolan, a U. S. Navy SEAL reservist.

Pete’s career as a combat Navy SEAL included two tours in Vietnam and was involved with a piece of space history as one of the specially trained crew for the rescue mission of Apollo 13, NASA’s third mission to the moon. Pete's well-trained team of frogmen successfully rescued the Odyssey Command module to emerge from its fiery re-entry from space in the April 1970 "Splashdown" of astronauts James Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert.

An international airbrush artist, Pete’s talents have been commissioned for the official U.S. Navy SEAL recruitment poster, and the official shirt for the space station's crew in outer space. Most recently Pete returned to active duty, answering to the call of duty to serve his country during Operation "Enduring Freedom". Pete is traveling coast to coast with America’s Ride displaying his art and being apart of another historical event.

Following Pete's arrival is a grand end-tour party on the flight deck of the U.S.S. Intrepid, in New York Harbor......... The "SEAL Mobile" will be on board, with a HUGE concert featuring some talented bands!
